Raving with Rach: Prosper Talks Purpose, Power & Upcoming Plans

by Rach Brosman

“I'm for the girlies. That's what I was built for. And, like, even my bloodline, we have always been in charge. I love it.”

This past weekend, I found myself deep in the bass-heavy glow of Hello Meadow, a brand-new Brooklyn venue owned by the team behind The Brooklyn Monarch. Nestled in Bushwick and pulsing with promise, Hello Meadow hosted a stacked night of drum & bass on Friday, June 14 — brought to life by Driven AM and Big Drum & Bass Party.

I arrived just in time for Prosper.’s set at 12:00AM, where she opened for Pola & Bryson. As a big DnB fan myself, I loved seeing the feminine energy she brought to a typically male-dominated genre.

“My drum and bass sets are very deep to where you have this point of self-reflection — and where you see yourself,” she told me in a post-set chat. “Because Geminis are mirrors. Remember that.”

Prosper. isn’t just playing tracks. She’s building a vision, one that challenges competition culture and uplifts authenticity.

“I want people to feel like they can flourish and do whatever they want to do. That’s the whole point of Prosper.”

She’s a Gemini sun, Leo moon, Gemini rising — a combo that comes through in both her confidence and multidimensionality. But don’t get it twisted: her confidence isn’t about ego — it’s about reminding people of their own power.

“When you look at someone, it’s not with envy. You use that as inspiration to do better for yourself.”

Though she’s been moving crowds in the DnB scene, Prosper. is ready to evolve. “I’m releasing my own originals — and I’m getting the f*ck out of drum & bass. I love it, and you can still book me for a DnB set, but I’m making a shift.”

So where can you catch her?

“Everywhere and anywhere. Atlanta. For the girlies — always. That’s what I was built for.”

Her set wasn’t just a performance; it was a reminder to stay inspired, stay grounded, and, most importantly, prosper. Follow along with the journey of this Philadelphia-based badass female DJ:@prosper.wav. And stay tuned for more femme-forward dance floor moments from Support Women DJs.
